             <p>Hello! You’ve landed on the payment and application page for the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF) exams. Please note that all exam attempts must first be approved by the state before making any payments.</p>

<p>To apply for an exam, visit the LDAF Licensing and Permits page: <a href="https://www.ldaf.la.gov/licensing-permits" target="_blank"><u>https://www.ldaf.la.gov/licensing-permits</u></a>. From there, select the appropriate license or certification category and complete the application as instructed on the LDAF website.</p>

<p>Once your application has been reviewed and approved by LDAF, you will receive instructions by email regarding the next steps:</p>
<ul>
  <li>If you are taking a remote (online) exam, you will be required to make payment after approval.</li>
  <li>If you are taking an in-person exam at a test center, please wait to hear from LDAF about scheduling your exam at the state office. Do not make any payment until instructed.</li>
